only just noticed this. this is the only Simbiose album i've heard, although i've seen them live 3 times. they're pretty cool.

you say that the drums seldom break into the full-on blasting the genre is known for, but in my opinion that only works for the band, although you may know how i feel about blasting and ruining riffs anyway (i was never a fan of full on GRIIIIIIIIIIINNNNDDDD).

that said, this is not very imaginative, it's good fun though. like a punkier terrorizer i guess (you nailed it there).

an album highlight is the more melodic "unglorious victory".
