I agree the female interlude parts get quite boring and annoying(she sounds like a poor mans Vanna White) but overall it still a solid album I enjoyed this like I did with Attero Dominatus and their other stuff although I think Primo Victoria is IMHO their best album.

It's a very good album. There is something...missing though. It doesn't have any one killer song on in on par with Primo Victoria, Metal Machine, Metal Crew, 7734, Wolfpack, Purple Heart or Metalizer.

Good one Dude, I knew there was something else niggling me - No stand-out track! I still feel it's down to overproduction on Joacim's voice, the raw edge just isn't there and these kinda songs need that. Still a good solid album though.

Even though this is a really strong release from Sabaton, would I be out of line by saying that this CD really doesn't cover any new ground.? I've been a big fan of this band over the past few years and I don't want to seem extremely critical but at this point I kind of feel that Sabaton is just rehashing the same material.

Is this a fair criticism or am I just jaded?

95% rehashed with 3% the added voice-overs and the last 2% being something new and innovative.

I still think it's a great album. If you view it as a concept album (Even though nearly all of Sabaton's albums follow suit) It seems to fit, letting you actually get into the female interludes instead of mashing them as mindless back noise.

It still feels heavy to me and I enjoy it, although I do agree on lack of a stand out track. (In the Name of God FTW)
