The score's a bit low, in my eyes.

Either way, this is a pretty fucking bleak experience. It would take several injections of flower metal to drag you out of the hole this makes for you.

Steve Von Till's new album is a bit better though, less depressing.

hmm, not digging this album at all after 2 listens. While his voice sure does remember me of Johnny Cash in his last days, the music is a little too repetitive and minimalistic for my taste. Still, i'm not giving up on it, I tend to give every album about 5 listens unless they're 100% shit

Don't try and force it, this isn't an album that you'll ever find catchy. Try it the next time you feel upset or depressed; it's mood music above all else. And as Dago mentioned, try Steve Von Till's album (also reviewed on this site) as it's much easier to get into.

Well, I like it more than I did after 2 listens but who knows what happen after I listen to it when i'm depressed or something like that. And I will check out that Steve Von Till!
