This album was a bit of a disappointment for me. I loved A Murderous Circus and especially The Sullen Sulcus (a must have for any doom/death fan) but this one just left me a bit on my hunger. I think the problem is that is lacks a song that stays with you like "Nothing" did on the previous album.

"Nothing (The March of Death)" from A Murderous Circus is probably my favorite doom song ever so after that, this album just felt like it was lacking a bit. Still, Mourning Beloveth are a great doom band.

For me it's the opposite. A Murderous Circus was solid but a bit monotonous. This one is more interesting and has more memorable melodies. And I love the Nemtheanga reminiscent clean voice. I think this is my favourite doom album this year.

So I was not alone thinking of Nemtheanga when I heard those vocals, huh?
