Worst Darkthrone album I've heard. Why can't they just make black metal albums?

It's a massive step down after Cult and Fuck, but I think there's enough here to make it worth a listen for fans of the style. It does grow on you a bit, but as my score reflects, not that much.

It seems pretty similar to FOAD to me except not as good, really. Has some pretty good tracks on it, though.

I guess on some unconscious level I knew that they would drop the ball some day. I guess this is it. Finally a Darkthroe release I don't like all that much. I will keep listening but I don't think this will do anything for me. Has some good songs but... Ah, fuck it. They have enough awesomes on their discography to keep me a fan.

Well, I kind of liked this album. I never got around to listen to FOAD though, so I can't compare against that one. On its own, it seemed pretty good to me.

Yeah, I think this one is pretty good also. Darkthrone aint really black metal anymore, but they sure do make entertaining records and that is enough for me.

I rather liked the last two, haven't heard this one yet.
Darkthrone will probably never recapture the glory of the first trinity, or even Panzerfaust, but it's not as if their is a shortage of good BM out there.
