Hearing Plague in the Throne Room right now, pretty good.

The change in style isn't so drastic like you mentioned in the review.

Its pretty drastic compared to their debut. Virtually all of the Power Metal is gone.

Yeah, it's very drastic. It sounds like a different band.

Pretty solid album, though.

Actually this is one of the better reviews I've seen for this album. It's kind of getting slammed by other reviewers and I have no clue why?? This albums kicks some major ass!

I am getting tired of typical euro generic by the numbers bands get heaps of praise piled on their sorry asses while killer heavy and intelligent metal like this gets shat on! I know, I know...everyone has their own opinion but come on!

Maybe I am a sucker for bands in the Nevermore mold but this to me along with the new Pharaoh are the best metal albums I have heard so far this year!

Bottom line I guess we just can't trust any reviews anymore. Got to always check into stuff ourselves!

P.S. Like the new singer too! Sounds like the dude from a band called Cloudscape to me.
