I think this is just too overproduced. Bootlegs from that tour show that they didn't sound that dry or uninspired really. But alas, the live aspect of these songs was uninspired according to the band. They just didn't like playing these songs as much as they liked hearing them and making them.

Another fantastic mistake producing the album much like they had ESL.

Listening to Between the Wheels from the more recent tours gives you a better idea about how they would have sounded at the time as opposed to this.

And neil's song was called "the rhythm method"
