This is great stuff! I discovered this band not long ago with their new album, Fallen Sanctuary. Loved the big orchestral sound and choirs (courtesy of Edenbrige's Lanvall and Everon's Philipps, two bands which I love).

This one is a bit different but if you enjoyed it, definitely check out their new one. Georg's English sounds much better on the new one, too.

Trying to get fallen sanctuary done for next week... It's good, but after a couple of spins it falls short of this imo. They've let go of the progressive elements, which is a small minus for me. Then again they've added huge archestrations which is a small plus... SO both a step forward and backwards.

I reviewed "Fallen Sanctuary" on Metal CD Ratings, and i must say that it is pretty good. I think it suits them better to let go of some of their prog elements, but thats just my opinion.

By no means a bad album... I enjoy it a lot.

As far as the prog elements goes, just listen to thriven from this one. The intro is just jaw-dropping. In my opinion they should do more of that-

Excellent album, I discoverd this band during a Kamelot concert.
Because of the prog influences I like this album more then Fallen Sanctuary, althought their newest isn“t bad either.

They will be touring again with Kamelot in Spring 2009.

You and me are more or less in the same boat then... I think some other stuff has improved though.

Listening to some of the songs from this album on their MySpace page... Pretty good stuff, but the stuff from their newest seems better, IMO.

This one gets a 90/100 from me (and I use an algebraic scale unlike MR, which uses a linear scale)

I think this album was one of the best of the year.

It takes me a while to let an album grow on me, but I liked what I heard. I'm busy trying to get into stuff that's been piling up on my computer.
