Never been too big on Behexen, though this is pretty solid.
To me , a fairly big step up from their earlier work.

75 is a good middle of the road score and just about right.

BTW, welcome aboard, looking forward to seeing more BM reviews.

Thanks, I'm hoping to cover a fairly broad range of stuff but mainly at the more "extreme" end i.e. death, thrash, black as that is where my own interests lie.

But yeah, hopefully I will get to increase the BM ratio here a bit.

Sounds good... a nice mix of thrash and underground black metal would be most excellent.

All of Behexen's releases have been good, but "My Soul for His Glory" is absolutely THE best when it comes to the songs. It's not as raw as previous releases, so I guess it's not as good for all you grim and kvlt wannabes. Not that it's not worth it, but if someone can give 90 to "By The Blessing Of Satan" 75 is definitely too low of a rating for this release.

Behexen are a great band, and while the production is a mixed bag the album has a great atmosphere and earns a fair amount of spins from me.
