A friend of mine bought this album recently. I'll need to get a loan of it.

I've heard from a friend of mine (she's a big fan of True Metal & stuff) that this album is really good :)

The main guy's voice rocks pretty damn hard. He <3's Manowar.

I listened to the track linked in the review last night a bunch of times and it got better as I got used to that fucking horrible sound. I'd buy this if I found it cheap, but no way would I pay full price for something that sounds like that.

I don't hear too much wrong with the sound. But then, my ears are growing increasingly fuxed of late. :?

Wow! A lot of band comparisons in that review. And a crap load of guest musicians. I'll look into this bad boy.

NP - They Conquered. I hope the rest of the album is better, this track isn't saying much.

Well, that songs just sounds weak. It's a terrible guitar tone. I did like the song, though. I just took like 4 listens on repeat for me to get used to that sound.

After listening to the album for the first time, I had quite neutral feelings about it. Nothing really good or bad to say. There isnt anything very special about this album but maybe it'll take some more listenings to appreciate it further. But dont really get carried away with all those comparison or else you might be disapppointed It doesnt offer something really different or new and particularly for those who are not huge fans of true/epic metal. But as i said, probably this album needs a bit more time before the final verdict.

I actually didn't think the song was anything too special, but it was enough to give the album a chance.

I like the album. Has an old school traditional feel with few modern power metal touches. Right in the same vein as say Doomsword mixed with some Manowar.
