The clapping section in Midnight Mountain is genius. Love this band.

One thing I didn't mention that becomes very evident after you've listened to this album is that Reverend Bizarre must cite Cathedral as one of their top influences.

Well yeah the "Bizarre" was taken after Carnival Bizarre right? and they do get a mention on the Godess Of Doom song (Christina Ricciiiii  ) actually now that i think about it that song its like the perfect buyers guide for new Doom enthusiasts:

"Saint Vitus and Trouble, Witchfinder General,
Count Raven, The Obsessed and Pentagram,
Solitude Aeturnus and Candlemass,
Penance, Revelation, Solstice and Iron Man,
Mirror of Deception and Pagan Altar,
Cirith Ungol, Exitus and Scald,
Internal Void, Paul Chain and Warning,
Unorthodox, Cathedral and Cold Mourning.

While Heaven Wept and Minotauri,
Dawn of Winter, Spiritus Mortis,
Electric Wizard, Confessor, Stillborn,
Solomon Kane, Orodruin and Mourn. "

I've never heard for sure, but in all likelihood yes. The influence seems obvious but still bears mentioning for those just getting into doom.

I forgot about The Goddess of Doom lyrics. That's awesome, a real who's who of the traditional doom sound.
