I'm not going to pretend I'm a big Sepultura fan myself or a thrash fan, for that matter... but I do love Chaos AD and Arise. Admittedly, I enjoy Roots more but I really can't stand Derrick Green myself. I really don't like Dante or this one.

I love folk and tribal stuff so it's natural, I guess. I didn't like Soulfly's first few albums but since 3, I've been growing into them and the last two have been awesome and so was Cavelera Conspiracy, even without the tribal stuff so yeah, I think Max is one hell of a songwriter and vocalist. If he returns to Sepultura, we might get a great album. Meanwhile, I don't mind if he keeps up Conquer's quality with Soulfly, personally.

The tracks that are badass are their best post-Max but the rest is pretty dismal. Instead of four interludes, one would've been great. The Ludwig Van track is amazing. Hopefully, their next album will be straight hardcore/thrash and no more interludes.

If they would just...tune up a little bit more, then they might get somewhere.
