I've only listened to 1 song and a bit of another, but I am liking it. It is weird hearing Jon sing to a kind of music that does not exactly sound like Obituary. And yes the solos are awesome.

These guys can't help but sludge and groove. If death was staring them in the face, they would have done the same thing. Old school, without copying Obituary, but still would attract those fans. My favs are I'm Alive and, you guessed it, Deep Down ('cause if it gets to Obituary, I'm a fan).

With the exception of a more Hard-Rock soloing, I believe it’s overly similar to Obituary, yet a good album on its own.

So i've listened to this like 3 times now.

I love all things Obituary. And this holds up with the rest of their discorgraphy.

Even though it's so similar, it's so different at the same time. Makes it easy for both non fans and fans alike to get into.

I'd actually give it a higher score.

Oh and Zad, Cancer rules. :dio:
