Great album, although if you liked this, you badly need to check out their early stuff, particularly A Sense of Change. The 2007 album is awesome too, better than Paramount, IMO. Arno shines on that one even more than here.

I found out about them through a friend with The Art of Navigating by the Stars and I also was surprised to see who was in the band. But that just proves how Alex's drumming is good.

He deserves way better than Rhapsody (sorry Rhapsody fans..)

Dude, Paramount is the 2007 album. It's certainly made me want to check their earlier stuff out though.

Woops! I thought Paramount was 2008 but it's the live album (which is awesome, by the way). The one I meant is 2005, not 2007. It's The Art of Navigating By the Stars. My bad. :lame:

A Sense of Change is an excellent release by this talented band, and so it is The Art of Navigating by the Stars. They were a little bit crazier in their youth. My favorite song from Paramount is Where our Shadows Sleep. You can listen to this with non-metal people and they never get annoyed or stressed :P , some actually even like it!

Yeah, it's probably my favorite too. My mother starts singing when I play Blue Wide Open from The Art... goes to show you...

But then, I'm lucky since my mother gets annoyed with pop and prefers my rock/metal stuff. I don't think she likes death... but I can see her nodding her head when I play stuff like Ayreon or Falconer.
