I've only heard their first album and I don't agree with the review here, which gave it a much higher score than it deserved. How does this album compare to the first ?

It's way better than the debut, trust me. They've improved a lot. I agree with most parts on the review, and my score would be around 90-95, one of the top ten power/heavy/prog albums of last year.

Sounds like I need to check it out myself, then. I wasn't too fond of Meeting in the Mist, either. It was good but not outstanding. I've pretty much only heard good things about this one.
