Ew. I disagree with this. They may trail much of the same ground as Dying Fetus but it is still an awesome album.

Still to me one of the best death/grind bands out there. Their older albums are much better but this still is worthy of a solid 80.

I totally disagree with Zad for the first time. You haven't done this album justice. It is an amazing album. They're nothing new but they are one of the best at what they do.

I've reviewed plenty of Grind bands better than MI. You guys are on crack or something. Traitors was boring, typical Grind/Deathcore nonsense.

Stop saying deathcore. This is nothing like Glass Casket or Winds of Plague. That is unless you want to label Dying Fetus deathcore too which is retarded.

haven't read the review yet but i have to say that i completely disagree with the score. not as good as Retaliate but still great, and better than Discordia. easily in the 80s range for me.

Dying Fetus are Death Metal with Hardcore. Might be not Job For A Cowboy-deathcore, but still Death Core.

This was the best tag given for Dying Fetus.
Hardcore-Tinged Brutal Death Metal
Spot on IMO.

Wouldn't that make some Napalm Death, Nasum or The Rotted deathcore?

I always labeled Dying Fetus as Brutal Deathgrind. Now I'm not sure if I know exactly what deathgrind constitutes.

Well, aren't The Rotted part Deathcore anyways? Suppose it depends on how you interpret 'deathcore' - Death Metal + Core, I say.

I'm an elitist and distinguish between Hardcore-tinged Death Metal and Deathcore, which just means chugging and retarded breakdowns out the ass. The 'core in Deathcore comes from Metalcore and not Hardcore.

I haven't heard anything special from this band. I always thought they were kinda boring.

And I'm of the mindset that Deathcore consists of chugga chugga and retarded breakdowns too. If that's the case, I dunno if I would call this Deathcore. I would call it kinda boring, though.

Same here.

I (moderately) like death metal and (a little more) hxc but this band always failed to grab me. :lame:

45/100 for me.

Probably a little better overall than Discordia. I liked the breakdowns and chuggier parts a lot more, Discordia kind of faded towards the end.
