Nice review and nice to see Dark Quarterer on MR!
I'd give this one a 80 to 90.

This album is absolutely amazing. I've been searching desperately for "The Etruscan Prophecy" but as of yet have come up empty handed. Thankfully this album is so awesome that I'm not tooo desperate. Glad to see a review of this....it made me forget that there was a Hammerfall review.

Must hear this...

Dark Quarterer the song is excellent, but Gates of Hell in my opinion is by far one of the most excellent heavy metal songs every written. The opening line is incredible "I have decided to live as a rebel." Then once the middle solo section starts, the guitar player treats all listeners to some of the most glorious guitar playing ever. Absolutely brilliant and more epic than anything else....EVER...with the exception of the song "Return of the Passover" by Cloven Hoof. i don't think there is any band in existence that is as epic as Dark Quarterer. The musicianship coupled with them being so fuckin mystical, is unparalleled. This band fuckin rules.....

Their guitarist is one of the most underrated I've ever heard, you hear amazing melodies in songs like Red hot Gloves and Colossus Of Argil. This album was recently reissued and or re-recorded I think, as there are a few bootlegs floating around that sound like shit. Don't buy the bootleg like me. I think the vocals might be the biggest obstacle for getting into these guys, the guy is really nasal and his english isn't the best but the riffs and melodies set these guys as being probably the best Italian heavy metal band.
