Edit: Just finished my first spin, I liked it, not an easy listening as you already said, but very rewarding. I'm quite sure something more will unfold in the next listens, BUT, I seriously don't think that Fauna is a better band (entity?) than Wolves in the Throne Room.
What can I say, I fell in love with them immediately after hearing Diadem of 12 Stars
Can't wait for the new one, Black Cascades
