Wow good review!Honesty in a review is awesome,it didn't turn into a hyperbowl like most reviews, you can see the actual merits and how you the reviewer feel about it.Good job.

Its definitely out there compared to their earlier works, which were far more traditional in structure, but once this album hits track 3 I just get taken away into a mental maze I can't fully comprehend, and it constantly pulls me back.Awesome, its certainly a grower.

The French have a serious amount of good bands these days. I spent a whole month on BAN, Gojira and DsO.

Also is this band anything like Arsis? If so, then I'm definitely interested.

Not really. Much more proggy, technical and jazzy.

This album is complex as fuck. I don't even get it all but it's a goldmine nonetheless.

Its got lots of melody too, not the hardest tech death album to get into.

This album is growing so much on me!I showed my woman and even she likes it,though its a bit much sometimes for her(she's not used to metal, much less rock). They write such beautiful tunes, and the solos and leads always get me.The dual guitar harmonies and whotnot are phenomenal on this album! :dio:

Bah, possibly the best tech death album of the year? That honor will almost certainly go to the new Necrophagist album if the new song they played live a few nights ago is anything to go by. Anyways this sounds interesting will check out for sure.

If Necrophagist even release the damn thing.Touring then release?Bad business, and one song doesn't impress me,though its a good song(great solo). They need to get their shit together, its been 5 years.Granted this is all a matter of opinion, and I love Necrophagist, but I'm more interested to hear the new Anata once they get their label shit cleared up,f'n earache.

Anata is just so much better than Necrophagist IMO. The conductor's departure was incredible.

I find this very impressive but ultimately there is just something missing. Soul, I guess. Something like the Ulcerate you also reviewed is much more interesting and durable IMO.

So, wouldn't give it a 90, but I do enjoy it.

There is a ton of melody on this one. This is in my top five for album of the year. They may not sound like Arsis, but they have the same concept... tech melo death. Except they are a lot more technical.

Been listening to this the past couple days and it's awesome. I love bands that can combine technicality and melody, and they are spot on with this one. I'll have to check out their first two albums.

Is that even possible?

Listen to this album, it's truly possible!

I'm listening to the titletrack right now and there is a lot of melody but it doesn't really grab me like Decrepit Birth's latest album.. Its not bad, I need to listen to a few more songs..
