I would give about the same rating to this album. Yeah, Immaculate Deception is a great track. About Virtual Death, I think Tony Martin intentionally sounded that way. Besides, that was the idea of the track, right? Slow, doomy, disinterested, pessimistic. Good track. The weakest one on this album has to be Evil Eye.

Again, Martin ruins it for me. I could never put down anything Iommi does, but picking Martin to sing for the mighty Sabs was pretty bad IMO.

What?! Martin is an excellent singer this may not be the kick ass album that is Headless Cross but i for one think is great, 80/100.

I don't know, his voice is just not as powerful as Ozzy or Dio. Martin sounds too much like a studio singer. This is just my opinion though, I will re-listen to these albums again one day...

I Witness is in the top 10 songs this band has ever done and my personal favourite bass line by Geezer. The vocals are sublime.

No other bass line quite moves like this in Black Sabbaths discography. Corect me if I am wrong. I love the work on Heaven And Hell. Geezers finest moment of melodic runs and inspired fills.
The inspired work on Warpigs,
and other classics do not compare with this master piece of bass playing.

Check out the bridge on track 3 to hear another Martin classic moment.
An incredibly underrated album.

The man can sing.
