Anyone heard O God, the Aftermath and could compare it to this one? I couldn't stomach that album mostly because of the frantic screaming burying the music and this sounds like it may be a bit less frantic and somewhat more accessible.

It's much more accessible. New singer, much catcier tunes. Check out Robots 3 Humans 0 on their myspace...

I have and was wondering if the rest of the album was in that vein. Going to add this one to the "to get" list, then. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Yes... Although some of the stuff does demand some patience and the right mood to get.. Murphy was an optimist and vipers, snakes and actors are also great songs. The last one is especially aggressive as fuck.

Just looked this up again after listening properly to O God... This isn'y anywhere near the freneticness of that particular album. All the hellbent notes and crazy vocals are nearly gone even though some odd stuff is to be found here. I do recommend Redeemer over this though. Slightly better songs, and overall more catchy songs.

Good review, and its great that "untr00" bands are being reviewed and are given just as much a chance as the "tr00" bands.

This is the only album I haven't heard by them. Bless the Martyr and O' God were nice little pieces of chaos, and I loved Redeemer's dirty and more catchy take on the sound. Looking forward to hearing this one.

Redeemer is slightly better than this IMO... This is still great though.
