The leads and soloing on this album are absolutely ridiculous. I havent heard a thrash metal band with such skill and creativity in a long time. This puts to shame all the shit load of so called thrashmetal bands out there now proclaiming to be "old school" like Warbringer, Merciless Death, Bonded by Blood, Vindicator, Violator, etc. This albums is a fine slab of thrash metal and I highly recommend it.

I've always noticed this with new thrash bands, they all seem generic IMO. I think they're trying too hard to sound like "thrash" rather than a great innovative band.

This band sounds awesome for not being a band in the 80s though, I'm impressed.
Solos are indeed kickass :dio:

It's sad that this album got ignored two weeks ago. I just recently heard and this band is one of the best of the new bunch it seems. Is their first album (Heal a Million) is as good as this?

Unfortunately all of the new thrash bands are just trying to sound exactly like the 80's bands, some even going so far as to call themselves "the new wave of 80's thrash metal." Newsflash, the 80's are over, just say you want to play thrash metal, that would be sufficient. The other thing is that they all sound like watered down generic crap. They are the worst kind of posers possible. You see them all with their shiny polished bullet belts and matching white high tops. its sickening how they could take something so anti-commercial and anti-establishment and turn it into a poser movement. At least Hexen dont suck as much as the bands I listed.

Yeah, I bought the album. It's good, but it's definitely not my favourite "retro" thrash album.
