Surprises me that this didn't get any attention. Good album, and nice review.

So no one else listened to this? How could Skyclad just slip under the radar??

Well, it's not like the whole forum loves Skyclad. I keep meaning to give this a real good sit-down-and-concentrate listen, but fitting this in when I have to listen to Silent Whales for the next archive is difficult. What I heard was a bit meh...

The samples I listened to .. the music seemed to have less guitar than Semblance, or just maybe the production is muddier. Creative as usual, but not as rockin' (although more folky, so I suppose it balances out). Kevin Ridley sounds better here, his vocals have improved a bit in strength. I think it's a fair score, as it's not quite as good as Semblance. I'd probably give it an 82-83. That's just after 1 listen however. Some of the songs have a lot going on so that may change.

Was #5 on The End Records weekly sales chart .. and probably it will be a while before I get around to ordering this (I order large batches every few months).

EDIT: It looks like the entire CD is on Myspace?

And seriously you guys are like attention whores. Speaking for myself, sometimes I won't check out an album until weeks or months later if I have to get it via mail order.
