I've been a Darkest Hour fan since highschool... About 8 years now. I really feel that So Sedated, So Secure was their strongest effort, and they've really yet to top that since then. I was kinda bored by Deliver Us, I thought Undoing Ruin was better, but more inconsistent overall.

I'll get a hold of this, didn't even realize they had a new one due out. Thanks for the review.

Funny, I'd almost consider this metalcore.

At least I think it's this band...

They have been given the metalcore label, but if you listen to their work it's pretty clear it's melodic death metal. At least in my book.

i've been a fan of this band for a while, they are like one of the last American bands playing the whole Melodeath/metalcore sound thats actually any good. I'll have to check this album out by them

They are the best metalcore band around if they are actually metalcore.

This album left me disappointed. I loved Deliver Us and this is a huge step down from that.

I'm about half way through this album and I think it's a big step up. Deliver Us was laaaame. This one seems to have a bit more of their old crunchier sound, and better songs... So far.
