Sounds interesting. The Six Wives of Henry VIII is one of my favorite Wakleman albums next to Rhapsodies. At least it seems he maintains some of the classic feel by using older analog synthesizers sounds.

Hey Jeff.....great to hear from you. This DVD blows away the original release by leaps and bounds. With a massive orchestra, choir and a full rock band, these songs take on a whole new energy and atmosphere over the original recordings. There's also a few extra tracks here that weren't on the original album. The DVD is well worth the investment if you like the original Six Wives.

Hi Marty! I went to amazon.com to check out some song samples and I liked what I heard. I think it's also cool that he included a track that was left out on the original Six Wives release due to "time constraints". Funny, I believe the original Six Wives album is under 40 minutes. I'm surprised that they didn't include that other track. They could have made it a double album but then again it could have been commercial suicide because not many musicians were doing that in those days.

Also, just wondering. I noticed you have 12 songs listed but when I went online the CD has only nine. What are the other three songs, or are they somewhere part of the other ones?

One more thing. I noticed that the DVD clocks in around two hours while the CD version as a little over an hour. I take it the CD version cuts out the narration?
