One thing that I forgot to mention in my review is that the production is impeccable! Every single note shines through in perfect clarity. It makes the lead guitar lines all the more amazing for the ears.

I went ahead and bought this album on the strength of this review (interestingly enough, I've been discovering more and more Russian bands lately so you wrote this at a good time).

The intro and first song are a bit slow in getting started--i know, i know, its doom--but once "The Sinner" kicks in, the album maintains a good pace and the music really stands out as a thing of beauty.

Thanks for making me aware of them.

Ironically enough, I wasn't too fond of The Sinner, but Since I Fell... was one of my favorites on the album.

But no problem, glad to hear my reviews are being taken into consideration when music shopping. :dio:

Since I Fell grew on me the second and third listen.
