A great album. I heard a rumour that they were going to pack it in if this album wasn't a success, can anyone clarify this? Either way there's some great bottom-end going on here.

Yes. They were going to pack it in numerous times, actually. This band is legendary, at least on a smaller scale, yet has never gotten a fair shake. Seems that lately their fan base has been growing, though, which is awesome.

Not a bad album in the lot, and all their side-projects rock.

This is one of those bands that i always wanted to check out but never did, which album would you guys say its a good place to start?

Gretchen Goes to Nebraska. Then this one. They're different but showcase King's X at their best at different points in their career. If you like em (and you will), check the rest of their discography. Its all pretty good
