I bought this a few months ago and I find myself listening to it quite a bit. It's great atmospheric music. I usually listen to soundtracks (games, movies, etc) while reading or studying and this one gets played all the time.

Great review too. :)

It's pretty complex IMO for being just background music. Good stuff.
80/100

It's complexity lies within all the layers of sound that Karl puts together in these tracks. The drums, screams, chanting, etc.. literally transports the listener to an entirely different time and place. In one track, I believe it's the last (Dying Embers of the Aga Mass SSSratu) you can hear this rhythmic hammering on chains kind of sound and all I can imagine is slaves laboriously building the pyramids in the hot Egyptian sun.

Does the cover remind anyone else of a certain bit in 300?
