Good review, I think I understood most of it and I agree that Concealed is, still, a much more surprising and I'd say interesting album altogether. It came out of nowhere and made something new, and in such a splendid way! I'm still loving the hell out of it.
Fragmentary Evidence though, while rock solid, never really does it for me in the same way.

I miss my female vocals. This lacks the Unexpect-like qualities of being super eclectic yet still focused.

Now here's one I was hoping would kick the death metal scene in its collective ass with some sort of revolutionary sound -- or at least something that warranted all its hype. Unfortunately... it struck me as highly unimpressive compared to its debut.

On a sort of trivial note, the band photos coinciding with this look stupid.

I really shouldn't have taken so long to listen to this. wtf was I thinking. The singer's shout/singing fits in better than the opera girl imo.
