Good album, but very inconsistent. The first half is fucking rip-roaring uncompromising intensity, but after Grim Hear/Black Rose, it really seems to drag. It's almost as if the first half is a really high quality EP, and all the songs after GH/BR are a bunch of B-sides they put in as bonus tracks... They're great songs in their own right, but they don't seem to fit together very well.

Having Plagues and Grim Heart Black Rose in the middle makes the pacing of the album a little weird but imo the second half is just as good as the first.
