W  T  F! I'd say that this is an indisputable classic.

Their early works are generally great. This one, "Blood Ritual" and "Ceremony..." should be known and cherished by fans of Black Metal and Doom alike.

I considered making it a classic, but decided not to, as it is quite dull unless you really, really care about the history of Black Metal. There's quite a classic queue waiting, as well; I knew that some people would want it to be classic'ed, but you can't win them all.

Tried many times to get into this, but I find it extremely boring.

Obviously I don't understand why you two would find it dull/boring. I'm not going to argue that you should change your score or anything, I just disagree. Even though the wordings in the review also suggest classic material. No matter what, it's good that Samael gets some attention for their Black Metal era albums as well. Their finest work is from this period.

Samael's Passage is much more deserving of a classic label than this, which I also find to be painfully boring.

Ceremony of Opposites is a solid album. The album is a little too slow for my taste, but the intro to Baphomets throne is a classic bm moment.
