This is incredibly boring. Absolutely nothing memorable about this album. Not sure how you gave it 80. 50/100 for me.

I think it's a very good album. Easily a 75 or 80.

Shocker.

What exactly is good about it? It's 100% generic. My wife and I were listening to it on a long drive and couldn't wait for it to be over. I'll never waste my time on it again. Too much other good stuff out there.

Some of it could be described as "generic" but Marcella's voice is what makes this much better than most other female fronted gothic metal bands.

I like good music, generic or not. If a song is good, I'll dig it. I'm not concerned with trivial nonsense like whether or not it's original.

Nothing about this album grabbed me at all. There was nothing that made me want to sing along, head bang, or just sit back and enjoy. It was flat out boring. There were no good songs, nothing memorable at all.

99.9% of the bands out there are NOT original. Your favorite bands are NOT original. What the hell does originality have to do with quality songwriting?

So you don't have to use your brain, I'll answer it for you: Nothing.

Well, that's quite fine. Not digging the songs is your right. Suggesting they're generic makes them bad songs (and maybe I read into that a bit) is what I'd disagree with. Something being generic, in my opinion, has nothing to do with something being good. Most everything is generic.
