Nice review Kyle, both this and the ep Freaks are essential.

Not sure but I thought I heard that some of the members of Rigor Mortis went on to form GWAR. Can anyone confirm this?

Bassist Casey Orr went on to join GWAR, though I'm not sure if he actually joined.

And @ The_Voice, I'm planning on reviewing Freaks and Vs. The Earth sometime in the near future.

Bodily Dismemberment is like one of my all time favourite metal songs.

There's no need to worry bitch
just lay there and relax
and as you reach your climax
I'll be reaching for my axe!

Best lyric on the whole album.

It's funny though, you hadn't even said how much you like RM until now, as far as I know anyway.

I only really talk about the older thrash bands that other people talk about. It is pointless trying to introduce people to bands like this, because the people who would be thankful for it, already know about Rigor Mortis.

if you catch my drift

I get you, but I didn't love Rigor Mortis at first myself. I hadn't even heard of them until... A year ago? Haha.

after I got over Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax, Rigor Mortis was one of the first bands I got into. Along with Kreator and both Dark/Death Angel.

Casey Orr is still playing the part of Beefcake the Mighty in GWAR. He joined after America Must Be Destroyed and has been there ever since. That's why Rigor Mortis doesn't do all that much anymore besides a few shows here and there.
