I still think Spirit is their best effort. Slania was pretty disappointing, mainly b/c they focused too much on melo death. I may want to give this one a shot since they are going back to their folkiNESS.

Spirit is by far their best.

I have to agree that Spirit was their best, but I think what they need to do is have their next album evolving from that instead of from Slania (or God forbid, Evocation). They were still experimenting with their sound on Spirit a great bit, the influences from some bands are pretty apparent (I could have swore that I was listening to At the Gates on the beginning of The Song of Life).

I didn't care much for the vocals and recording quality on their first demo/EP, Vên, but their instrumental song on the album Jêzaig gives a pretty good idea of their... uh... spirit.

All I can say is thank God that they decided to ditch Evocation II.

I think this album was pretty good. Its definitely not a metal album, but a very good folk/accoustic effort from them. Id give it 80 something.
