If you rated this a 70, then I am sure I will really enjoy this. I find the Fairyland album a 90 score and the references to fairyland have sparked my interest.
Thanks for the obscure power metal review, we do not get enuff of those!

The cover art is indeed awful...the Fairyland comparison sounds interesting, I really enjoy that kind of power metal.

EDIT: the mp3 clips sounded quite good...

I've listened to this album a couple of times and Mike is spot on with this review. The vocalist is great (quite surprising for a new band) and I really like what I hear musically. There's so much potential for this band....

I just checked the samples and was pretty impressed. I wonder how many such great bands are out there just waiting to be discovered.
Also, has anyone here checked Derdian from the same record label? I thought it sounded very interesting. Try it if you're into the "cheesier" stuff like me. I mean, can you go badly wrong with a cover like this?:

I downloaded a few clips by Dedrian. There wasn't anything special about them. They were all right, but they were to generic for me.

i just orderd the Betoken and Derdian from cdbaby.com
So yes I too love the "cheese" factor!

The unicorn album i had to get from sonicage records.
Speaking of the new EuroForce is a good cd if you like the Human Fortress vocalist!
They are a newly signed band to that lable. Same lable I believe that has Overlorde?
Not sure on that tho

Elvenking is pretty fairy-like, but they do it in a good way. Unicorn....well I heard some samples...and my god, it sounds like they are all wearing Tiaras and fluffy pink boas around their pasty white frames and cavorting about in curled shoes with bells at the end.
