Embryonic Genesis never did anything for me.
This shouldn't even be called a Genesis album imho.

Nice to see a Genesis review on here. This album is also just ok for me. "Trespass" was a much better effort and was a jumping point that led to classics such as "Nursery Chryme", "Foxtrot" and even "Selling England By The Pound". Of course, "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" is such a definitive work of art. I even love albums like "Trick of the Tail" and "Wind and Wuthering". Once Hackett left, Genesis continued to reinvent themselves as a three piece. Great stuff!
