Good album, but not amazing. I think they sort of dumbed-down, or softened, the Wicked Witch tunes, which is unfortunate. A bit more "aggression" would have suited this album well.

Still, it's another solid release from a Savatage member. I miss Savatage, but can't really complain when we've got Jon Oliva's Pain, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (first non-Christmas tour coming this summer—hell yeah!), Circle II Circle, Caffrey's solo album (though clearly the worst of the bunch), and now Machines of Grace. All releasing quality material.

I do dislike the band name. Too similar to Machines of Loving Grace, in my opinion.
