Thanks dude for the good review, it's really a good album from these guys. But just a note for you, if you don't mind: on the cover that's not a viking boat, but a native north-american canoe :)

Considering the band are Quebecois, I imagine it's also in reference to the Voyageurs, the legendary French Canadian fur traders who operated in 17th and 18th century North America and are synonomous with river canoeing. At least in Canada.

Well your almost right!
This flying canoe is part of a folk tale about men who sold their souls to the devil. It's called La Chasse-Galerie.

Also, I saw this band live while it was called Profugus Mortis (in Montreal, first part of Finntroll :lol: and Sodom :lame: )
And I have to say that their sound didn't change much. Even the production was really clear even if they self-produced!
