I've never heard the original either.

Sounds interesting, esp the Drudkh comparisons which I applied to the new one as well. Feel like I should definitely try and get this.

I think you should rio.

Thanks for the review, Zad. I have the original recording of this album, and I was blown away by how earth-crushing the sound was. With the recording, did that ultra-heaviness fade away (I guess assuming you've heard the original).

The original was very good indeed. I hope they didn't screw it up.

I haven't heard the original, I'm afraid. Didn't feel especially crushed like you say, so I'd assume that was something not replicated here.

All I can find is the original. I wanna hear this and their other new album but I'm not having any luck.

They are both exclusive promo versions, the release date for the new one especially is a few weeks off. Patience!

Too bad, the original had such a thick, fat production. Though I think I will check this out, just to hear the much cleaner version.

A limited edition with the original album added would have been great.
This is the most enjoyable BM I have heard for ages. Well, actually I haven't heard any BM for ages.

Wow, Open Mind? That is a blast from the past--I'll always remember your discussion about the limitations of having a huge cd collection striking a chord.

Now having heard both, I think the original dirty, crushing production edges out on this wonderfully clean production, but it provides a worthy a contrast to own both. Anyhow the music is unsurprisingly excellent.
