You've been watching too many chick flicks, Zad. It's Farewell, Mona Lisa.

This album is pretty awesome. Rymer is a badass. I think you're right about this being DEP doing metal and not hardcore. I think I'll need a few more listens to wrap my head around it all.

Oh, for definite. Like I said in the review, it might be their best, but I'll need to listen until the end of the year before I can make my mind up.

Just generally, what their metal influences are.
I know thats a softball but I'm rather curious.

Isn't Greg a massive libertarian or something? Remember some rant of his about how taxes are worse than Hitler.

What's Fox's deal bringing on Cobalt and DEP? Are they trying to be hip?

So this album is still pretty awesome.

I might be missing a layer of sarcasm from that video, but if DEP are as right-wing as they seem, then taken with Cobalt's patriotic army service and Jon-from-Iced-Earth's thing there's a new line of conservative metal arisin'. A couple more and I could flesh this out for an editorial!

Someone in the right wing knows what's up. They've had GWAR on Fox News, too... Not that long ago.

Also there's a right wing radio guy named Jerry Doyle that fills out to commercial and back with bands like In Flames.

This sounds like a mix of The Chariot, Benea Reach, Converge, and At The Drive-in. Easily their best yet. Easily.
