Great stuff, but like I said in my short review on Rate Your Music, I feel it radically drops down in quality in the second half. As I said myself, "the songs just don't sound as strong and some feel a bit like filler". It's especially a shame that the band's namesake song isn't quite that great to me...

I think is that this should maybe have been another EP like High Speed GTO last year. The band has great potential but they need to focus their songwriting to get songs like High Roller, Live Free or Die or the silly but ridiculously catchy High Speed GTO on last year's EP.

High Speed GTO kicks ass. :dio: I have to disagree with you on Live Free or Die being one of the better songs though... it has some great melodies and riffs, but the song structure is poor. It's basically the same ideas repeated for five and a half minutes with no real progression.

Still, excellent album. :dio:

Cool album. There's also some notable Priest influence in several songs, I'm surprised it's not mentioned in the review.

Well now that I think about it, there's definitely some Priest "Moments", but then again, there's also a hella obvious Motorhead moment and a lot of the album reminds me of Helloween. I think those influences are much more noticeable, as they're what jumped out at me most when I was listening to the album.
