The faster songs are obviously the better songs, Belladonna's vocals are almost gone. Overall, its a decent album and one I need to check out fully.

Zad, would have I written the review, I would have had exactly the same opinion and same rate. Amazed I am (and not just with the album which, by the way, indeed exceeds all expectations).
In my year's top ten (all genres included), no doubt about it.

The most delightful musical surprise of the year. I just didn't think that Anthrax could crank something out that's this good. I would put this on par with last year's 'old school' gem: Accept's 'Blood of Nations'

Unfortunately I do not agree with the score. After this and some other reviews I expected good album but two crap songs and only three really good ones make this album just descent. If Megadeth can write good songs nowdays why can`t Anthrax. And I didn`t even expect real speed thrash metal record.
Sorry but I rate it 65.

I'm pretty sure I know the songs he's going to name and why.
Pretty sure also we'll wholeheartedly disagree with him.

Surprisingly good! I'd definitely classify it as decent, although I wouldn't go so far as to call it great. Something like a 75-80/100 for me.

Alright. I fucking love heavy/thrash subgebre ( as everything with heavy in it ) and this record IS heavy/thrash metal. But overall this record, sadly does not kick ass. I gave it 10 spins so far and three first songs are very good, The Giant and Revolution Screams are alright. Crawl and The Constant suck, I just cannot accept them on this kind of record and I skip them everytime. Whole album has some kind of modern feel to it unlike the last Heathen, Overkill, Testament, Megadeth or even Metallica just to mention few.
Maybe it`s just me, sorry.

Don't be sorry, we cannot all like the same album.
If I may, I'd like to correct the categorization you gave of Worship Music. I don't think it's just Heavy-Thrash as it leaves off the hard rock component of the album which is, for me at least, what makes it enjoyable as a whole. I'd rather call it Thrashing Heavy Rock.
Oh, and the Constant is one of my favorite tracks on the album now, can't get enough of its quasi-stoner thrashy hard rocking vibe. :dio:

I love this shit. Great return to form. This is rock solid, maybe I would cut 2 songs but that's it.

I miss Refused

Well as I said already in the other thread, I don't understand what is so great about this album. One day, perhaps.

Did you like their earlier stuff? I was pleasantly surprised by this so I maybe a bit biased and so can be a lot of fans.

Somewhat. Some tracks. I am not a fan, true. That perhaps, explains it.

hi, first post here but been coming here for over 10 years at least...

i really like this Anthrax. The Giant is my favorite track so far, it just seems to have an energy in it that's different from the rest. Belladonna sounds ok, but it seems obvious that these song were written for Bush, who I actually prefer but what are you gonna do?

hopefully they don't pull a The Crown on us and re-record it with Bush in 2 years.

there are sections of Fight 'Em Til You Can't that sound ripped directly from Persistence of Time or Among the Living...I can't pick the song off the top of my head for some reason tho.

also, Judas Priest mentioned as an Iced Earth cast-off...i disagree...musically this is DIRECTLY off of a GWAR album. something between Violence has Arrived and Lust in Space...the riffage and drum beats are completely lifted. or at least they sound the same.

i don't think i quite enjoy this as much as We've Come for You All, but my perception is skewed because I actually like Volume 8...
