The best band in Sweden atm. I saw them live at the Sweden Rock Festival the other week and they were just as awesome, if not more than when I saw them at Graspop 08. It probably helps though when they play on swedish soil and can speak their own language. I will probably see them again this autumn but anyway.. about the review..

I completely agree with the score. This is a really solid album with some standout tracks. I probably enjoyed The Art Of War more than the reviewer did, although I agree that the Sun Tzu quotes in between the songs can be a bit irritating. Some of the Songs on The Art Of War are even better than most ones on this album (40 1, Ghost Division, The Art Of War, Cliffs Of Gallipoli etc..) but i feel that Coat Of Arms is a bit more solid with absolutely no filler at all.

Yeah that was the only thing wrong with AOW was the quotes between the songs but it was still a solid Sabaton album.

It turns out I'm watching this topic since I had to edit something, so I might as well check them out. Good place to start?

You could start off with any album really, they sound pretty alike all of them. You know when ur listening to a Sabaton album...

This can be a real problem for some bands but it still works for them.

Depends on what your usual tastes are. The review stated that Sabaton has too many mid tempo songs. I'm inclined to believe perhaps he never heard the "debut".

If you like faster songs....Metallizer is their best album IMO. Heavy and fast.

Their debut was called Fist for Fight, which lacked a decent production. So they redid the album, giving it an incredible sound. Renaming the album Metallizer.

Primo and Attero were a lil more epic...but Metallizer, with the same type of production, more ferocious.
