Karma to Burn is a band I feel like I should like from how they're described (instrumental stoner metal! riffs!) but I always found them kinda predictable song-wise even though they have some cool riffs. Animals as Leaders and Scale the Summit are pretty bad too lol

Nice review, Steven. I only have Almost Heathen by KtB- quite good but don't really see the need for it most of the time. Not having a vocalist could be an excuse to have really mental extended jamming but they don't really take the opportuniy IMO.

Thanks, Rio. I sort of took a different direction with this one. I just had all these nuggets of Appalachian info in my head and thought the record lent itself to that sort of thing.
