Fukken love this band, though I do need to be in a quite specific mood to listen to their stuff. It takes a lot of patience for one.

Thank you for the review. This is one of those albums which manages to take me to other worlds, and I love it for that.

I always thought that the album doesn't quite hit it's stride until Elfstone plays, but then it never lets go.

I only have Oath Bound and I love it. I can't believe I haven't looked any further into these guys.

This album and "Stronghold" are my favorites by them. A band that has released nothing but quality over their career.

I sat in a crowded Starbucks when I reviewed this album and it still completely took me on that journey that only Ambient Black Metal can do.

I can only wish I could get in the mood for ambient stuff easily like that. For me that time is usually night, laying on the bed with no distractions. And trying not to fucking sleep. :lame:

Summoning for me are a rare listen. But when I do find the mood and patience to listen to I am blown away, especially by Dol Guldur.
