When I played this, I was expecting something extremely "candlemassy" and what I got was something heavily "solitude-aeternussy" which is fine, actually.
I'm amazed as to how your review could leave aside such an evident ressemblance. Anyway, this is a very fine doom album, mournful but not overly desperate, melodic but not too ear-catchy. Something that should appeal to doom & heavy metal fanatics alike.
After three listens, I'd give it a 85/100.
