Great band, but I really can't see the 100/100. Sorry.

I've got to agree that this is a fantastic album, one of the best black metal releases of the past couple of years IMO. But I'd never give it a 100, more like 90.

Great review there. This is very near perfection. Every moment is amazing but Dunkler Mann stands out as one of the best black metal songs ever made.

I'd give it about a 96-97/100.

Must listen to this again. I voted 94/100 but may be convinced otherwise.

Gluck is better than Dunkler Mann, in my opinion, Kathy.

I don't see how Wolves in the Throne Room could claim influence on this band though, more likely, the other way around.

After rolling my eyes at a 100/100, I decided to give this band a listen.........wow........my eyes became focused in a hurry. Amazing band. Whether it deserves a 100 or not, who gives a fuck.......what a great album!

WITTR had no influence on the band, just sayin that this album combines the very finest sounds of various scenes and notions of Black Metal. Fuckin perfect album.

Ah, good. Now wasn't I the one who first recommended you check out this band? :)

The day before I made the post asking about German and French BM bands I saw one of my friends posted a video on my other friends Facebook wall of Der Pakt. We're pretty much the only 3 guys we know that listen to BM outside of the internet, and I was drawn in. Definitely assume credit though, as you were the first.

A bit too polished for me, and the drum programming... Good album, but not a 100/100. 85 would be my score.

Re-listened to this a few times since the review came up and still not seeing a perfect score. Can definitely see why someone would fall for it though.

This is certainly a good album, though not on par with Ars Moriendi.

These guys have a fairly large back catalogue....has anyone heard beyond Ars Moriendi, Andacht and split albums....cause that's all I've heard.

I own Weltenganger, their first album. It is good, very hypnotic, but probably not as good as Andacht.

Listened to it again after some time, and to Glück as well. Still not seeing anything resembling a perfect, not even high nineties. Looks like Tony pulled a Tyler there?

Maybe you should be listening to Anathema instead?!
