I've only heard their debut and I wasn't really impressed. Seems they've only been getting better since then.

Oh yes, this is a big step forwards from the debut. Much less Deathcore to the point where it's hardly notable.

Meh...not bad or anything.. just typical modern inoffensive deathcore/stale death metal like newer JFAC.

Coming from a Whitechapel fan, that's a bit rich!

Maybe he's just liking the best out of the genre?

Maybe, if it wasn't for the fact that Trigger are way better than Whitechapel.

I got this awhile back and it's pretty decent. Their second CD sucked ass and their first was definitely the best. I really like their first album a lot, to be honest.

This one is good but I feel like they're trying too hard to be technical and maybe appease the metalhead crowd a bit who were saying they were too deathcore or something before. Their first album is really heavy and has a lot of stomp the floor moments that I dig.

But Whitechapel are improving a bit too.
At least their new album is a lot better than the somatic defilement.
As for Trigger this is a very good album actually showing that those who play deathcore are not totally stupid when venturing into death metal territory
