Seems like a fair review, good job.
I had no difficulty at all to get into this album. In fact, at first listen I was hooked by this strange and attractive mix of ethnic roots, trip-hop and alt. metal. I even think it's slightly better than their debut because it's more focuses, more "in control"...
Where I'm at a loss is to rate this album but it'd certainly be in the low 90s.
