I loooooove HoF live. Matt Pike is a showman. The sweaty, overweight metal guy has never been more appealing. His grunts and snarls are the best.

It seems as if Torche is more intense live than on the album? I've been cozying up to them lately, more than after I initally heard it. I hope a second album will be heavier.

As for Headliners, I've always wanted to go there but can't muster the energy for a two hour drive. I'll be going to Summer Slaughter this Friday at Bogart's. If you end up deciding to go, send me a PM. Decrepit Birth and The Red Chord have me excited.

I will be at Summer Slaughter in Cincy after all. My wife's birthday is that Saturday and she scheduled a cookout at her mom's place for Friday. I was like "what? don't you know where you rank against death metal?" But, clearly, I lost that battle. Then my mom-in-law's boyfriend died in a plane crash (he was the pilot w/ no passengers) last Thursday and so the cookout's future is clouded in uncertainty. I leveraged that and a promise to take her up to Lake Erie Saturday and got her to relent on Summer Slaughter, so I will be there from start to finish. I'm kind of a big dude, with red hair and tats. Tell you what - I'll wear my Goatwhore shirt. The back says "who needs a god when you've got Satan?" in white block letters. You can't miss it. If anybody wants to say hi, don't hesitate to do so.
